Free Reflexology Webinar
We invite reflexologists worldwide to join us for this one-hour webinar.
This time we will discuss the Thoracolumbar Fascia and its importance for lower back pain, which is very often overlooked.
The techniques we demonstrate include new fascia techniques on foot reflexes.
The Thoracolumbar Fascia
A Complex Structure
The thoracolumbar fascia is made up of:
- The well known superficial layer located posteriorly between the illiac bones and continuous with the latissimus dorsi muscle.
- Deeper layers surrounding and separating the deep back muscles.
The fascia contains a multitude of sensory nerve endings, effectively turning it into a "bag of pain" when joints, ligaments or muscles in the area are suffering.
Techniques
To relieve thoracolumbar fascia tension and pain we apply a combination of:
- Nerve Reflexology
- Muscular reflexes
- Fascia reflexology techniques
